Ist Prize in Architectural Competition -
Development of a concept for the development of the boulevard along the Tuga River in Nowy Dwór Gdański
The project emphasizes the value of the place given by nature in the city center of Nowy Dwór Gdański, the greatest expression of which is the presence of the river. The name "In the brackets" refers to the shape of the winding Tuga river, but above all reflects the characteristics of the project, which assumes the creation of a softly winding line of a wooden footbridge along the embankment enclosed in two brackets of coves for kayaks - one at the square at the Żuławskie Ośrodek Kultury, and the other at the so-called Chinese Bridge from the side of Wejcherta Street.
These are the culminating points of contact with water, a gentle shape that encourages you to go towards it. The space in the vicinity of ŻOK, as a large open space, has the character of a noisy but natural urban space.

After crossing the border of the orchard, we find ourselves in an intimate, slightly more urban interior, which serves as a natural rural urban scene. The third zone at the City Hall is a zone of dialogue between residents, city authorities, and also incoming tourists. The project combines the character of urban and natural spaces. Ability to choose different roads allows you to diversify your walk and observe the city landscape from different perspectives.

COMMUNICATION
GREENERY
We live in a time when a large part of the population works in cities, thus losing daily contact with wildlife. The reaction to it is great interest in gardens. Modern gardens are full of exotics plants, and lawns are laid out so that  there is only grass in them, and "weeds" is sprayed with chemicals. Can the space we live in look like otherwise? Yes.     A city can be full of easy-to-grow native species about beautiful flowers. Domestic species are well adapted to the climate, they are also home to interesting fauna, including many butterflies and beetles. a meadow perennials should be mowed once or twice a year. We suggest a dozen typical colorful meadow flowers, e.g. common chrysanthemum, buttercup spicy, field scabies and jagged firlet. Easy to maintain colorful lawn alternative.
